This 2000ml separating funnel has a robust pear shaped body with a 6" diameter at its widest point. The item measures 21" in height when positioned upright and is designed with a PTFE key stopcock that allows optimal control of flow when working with liquids in the lab. The interchangeable 29/32 stopper fits the 1.2" opening at the top of the funnel. Stopcock stem measures 0.38" and measures 2.5" in length. Made from quality borosilicate glass. Ungraduated.
Autoclavable, with superior chemical durability. Low temperature gradient- can withstand high temperatures & thermal shocks. Eisco Labs Borosilicate glass has the following heat tolerances: Strain Point -515°C | Annealing Point 565°C | Softening Point 820°C.
